Representative Litigation Matters:

	Obtained a verdict in excess of $18,000,000 for a national commercial developer in a breach of contract action concerning a shopping center lease, which was one of the largest commercial business verdicts in Chester County history. Read more...
	Successfully defended a challenge to the tax exempt status of an internationally known non-profit, which would have triggered real estate taxes in excess of $700,000 per year. The exemption was upheld by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
	Defended a national television network in a news anchor's unsuccessful action to invalidate the non-competition covenants in his employment contract with the network.
	Successfully defended a nationally recognized horse farm in a $30,000,000 contract action involving a Kentucky Derby-winning thoroughbred (including recovery of counsel fees against plaintiff for bad faith).
	Negotiated a multi-million dollar post-trial settlement of a lender liability action against one of the nation’s largest banks.
	Recovered $500,000 in real estate taxes for a major corporation following an unlawful retroactive tax assessment.
	Recovered damages and counsel fees against the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in an eminent domain action. The trial court's determination that the Commonwealth acted in bad faith was upheld on appeal, and additional counsel fees were awarded by the appellate court.
	Obtained $2,750,000 verdict in a products liability action concerning a defective front end loader.
	Obtained verdict in excess of $1,000,000 on behalf of a regional music venue on the basis of discriminatory collection of real estate taxes.
	Obtained verdict in excess of $2,000,000 on behalf of a construction contractor in an action for breach of construction contract.
